Argolida is a very fertile area with orange gardens and olive groves surrounded by mountains and sea and has a mild climate during the whole year. These conditions attracted people since ancient times and facilitated the burst of the famous Mycenaean civilization that ruled from 1600 to 1000 BC.
Nowadays, you can visit Argolida for various reasons. It’s a quick excursion from the capital Athens and you can see some of the more interesting ancient’s sites of the country such as the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus or the Tholos tombs of Mycenae. The picturesque city of Nafplio can be used as a base in order to explore and experience real emotions by participating in one of the numerous activities that this region and its people offer.
